Are you scared of growing old?

Saw this old man sitting and looking from afar, and a question just pop in my head. Are you scared of growing old? at first I am, because i don't want to be a burden to my wife and kids someday, but when I come to think of it, I actually do want to grow old. It is not an easy journey, I'll get weak, I'll have a poor eyesight, I'll forget things easily, forget names, or even forget who I am, but what drives me to live more years of my life, is because of the same reason of why I am afraid to get old, its because of "my family".

I want to experience what it feels like to celebrate my 50 or 60 years of my existence in this world with my wife and kids, I want to see my sons graduate from elementary to high school and in college, i want to see my sons introduce their first girlfriend, I want to see my sons as they walk down the aisle with their wife to be, I want to carry my grandchildren and hear their first cry, I want to watch them grow and play around with them and sing lullabies, I want to be the best grandfather and I want to spend more christmas and more new years with them and tell them how much "I LOVE THEM".

I am blessed because of them and when the time comes that I'm gone, I'll always cherish each moment that I was with them, I just hope and pray that they will always grow as loving, caring, respectful sons not just to their parents but to everyone.
