Penguins ......

Heres some knowledge about penguins
Did you know penguins are a group of aquatic,flightless birds.Most penguins feed on krill,fish and squid.They spend about half of there lives on land and half in the ocean.The largest penguin is called Emperor 3 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 77 pounds.
Smallest penguin is the little blue penguin and is 16 inches tall and weighs 2.2 pounds.All penguins are counter shaded for camouflage they have black backs and wings with white fronts.Penguins either waddle on there feet or slide on there bellies they use their feet to propel and steer themselves its a movement called tobogganing which conserves energy while moving quickly.
Penguins have an average sense of hearing and there eyes are adapted for underwater vision. They can drink salt water cause their suborbital gland filters excess salt from the bloodstream. 1 and 50,000 penguins are born with brown rather than black plumage there called isabelline penguins. Penguins are popularly loved around the world primarily for their unusually upright waddling,qart and impressive swimming ability and lack of fear of humans.
