BIGFOOT!

Has anybody ever seen one?

If so, you should probably let science know.

Most of humanity can agree that these apelike creatures are out there somewhere, but the frustrating thing about them is that they're so freaking good at hiding.

Everything else that's good at hiding has been found and photographed, extensively.

That's a snow leopard. It's really really good at hiding, and here it is posing for a picture.

So why is the ape man so hard to find?

If they're that good at hiding, what else are they good at? Where do they fall on the food chain? Are they smarter than us?

So many questions. Most career-respecting sciency people don't bother looking at it.

Is it a Myth?

I'm not here to debate the existence or non-existence of a thing (But I will if you really want to). This creature is simply a topic that has long interested me and I haven't posted in a few days. All over the world, stories of sightings and encounters of these creatures have been shared for years. Do your own research if you like; the stories are fascinating and those Bigfoot people are usually a treat to watch. Bigfoot's just what it's called in the United States. Here's some of the other names around the world.

Sasquatch - Canadian Rockies

Yeti - Nepal

Yowie - Australia

Orang Pendek - Indonesia

Yeren - China

There are many more. Like I said, it's an everywhere thing. And even before the internet.

The Remote Areas

It may be easier for me because I live in the wilderness

But I like to remind myself how much land is actually out there that we don't know about. If I look out my front window, I see a vast mountain range: The Sangre De Cristos. It looks like a beautiful painting, sure. But it's easy to forget that it's an entire world of wilderness. An average person who walks off a trail without a compass willl be lost in no time. And anyone who gets lost will not likely be found. Even where I live, people go missing quite frequently.

Anyway, when someone tells me "I just think we would have found Bigfoot by now," I remind them that we don't even find the bodies of dead bears. There are many remote areas remaining in the world, and it will be difficult for anyone to ever say for certain what they hide.
