i got lost in the evil forest during one of my hunting trips and after so many days of suffering, I collided with a friend of mine in our village, his name was lamorin, he has been lost in the forest since three years ago..

He was so happy to see me because we were good friends during our stay in the village, we greeted each other and also shared our experience in the past, I didn't suffer as much as lamorin because he got lost many years ago and still yet to see home.. Both of us started moving and along the way we got to a river and as we bend down to take water, there stood a big naked man in front of us with a sack and in his hand was a lion head that he was eating, as he saw us, he threw away the lions head and started coming towards us, lamorin cried unto me that it is time to run, when I asked him the reason, he said the man name is tragedy , the father of misery.

Lamorin and I run for our lifes, later I didn't see lamorin again and didn't hear of tragedy, I climbed a tree with my gun and waited till I will see either of them... Not long after climbing the tree, I saw tragedy coming towards my side, he was looking around searching for me, when he reached my side, he started lamenting, ha! My head o, this fat insect escaped, what will I eat tonight, my head o, as he said this, he looked up and saw me, he was so happy, he stretched his long hand and caught me, then threw me into his sack, I remained quiet but my gun was with me inside his sack, I loaded the gun and rested a while, soon after I shot him in his head and he fell down and died...that was how I got rid of tragedy, I called unto lamorin and he was happy to see tragedy dead.. We went to his home and that was where we slept, as we finished preparing the food and about to eat, one tall man came,greeted and sat down to eat with us, as I saw him, I already know he is a monster , he finished our food with just his two morsels intake, I was angry, I took a broken basket and hit him on the head, he stood up and left crying, lamorin and I slept and when it was the next day, we greeted each other, ate and we went our different ways to hunt in the forest...

While roaming in the forest, I saw a monster with one leg resting beside a tree, I tiptoed to his side to take his walking stick but just as I touched the stick, something cried out of it and the monster wake up but before he could act I had moved far away from his side, he begged me but I refused to leave the stick until he promised to give me an effective charm to kill animals and he said'.

my name is kojo, the monster with one leg, evil never leaves my house, I was a notorious monster that disobeyed God, even King Solomon warned and advised me but I didn't listen, I was arrogant in front of God to the extent that he dealth with me and turned me to a one leg monster, I lived for millennium years but my character became worse that God decided to abandon me till death comes my way, it is death I am waiting for at the moment so please give me my stick.<

I felt pity for him due to what he said and gave him the stick then he gave me a potent charm and said, I should always apply it wherever I see an animal footprint and the animal will come and die at the same spot.. I tried it and it worked perfectly but I didn't use it often for fear that it would finish in time...

As I left the one-leg monster and moved forward, I saw another monster not taller than my waist, he has two heads and two horns, each horn on one head, it has one big eyes in the middle of his chest, when I greeted him, he replied and his voice was loud since he was using two mouth to talk, I asked him where is he from and where is he going and he replied'why are you trying to know about me, I noticed how short you are and you have got two heads and he said",

Trully I have got two head and I am so short, my name is chimbong who once lives in heaven, I was among the angels God loves but I disobeyed his rules....He realised I am stubborn and my ways are evil, he gave me to Satan to punish me for seven years after the years expired, I went back to heaven to meet God and when he realised I haven't repent, God said unto me, you this ant, ungrateful fellow, I made you special and you repaid me with your disloyalty, I will divide your head into two and throw you in the evil forest where you will wander for the rest of your life until a human pour sand on your body, since then I have been wandering, please hunter pour sand on me as I am tired of of the endless walk, I pitied the creature and pour sand on his body and he turned to a big stone. <

After all this, I wasn't scared of the monsters anymore, I was searching for animals to kill when I met this beautiful woman, I was enchanted by her beauty and I wanted her as my wife, I greeted her and she replied, I asked how she got to the evil forest but she didnt answer me, I begged her to become my wife but she refused, I tried persuading her but she still refused then I threatened that I will shoot her if she refused me and she said my gun cannot harm her, I shot at her with anger but only the sound of the gun was heard the bullet didn't come out, she looked at me and said if not that she pitied me, she would kill me instantly and I also told her she can't do me anything, the woman moved on but I was so attracted by her beauty that I held her wrist, she turned to a big tree but I held on, she changed to a raging fire, I didn't leave her, she changed to many other creatures like bird,snake,tiger but I still didn't leave her, at the end she changed back to the beautiful lady I admired, she smiled and said" o brave hunter, I will become your wife for you are worthy of the position... We celebrated our union in the forest, many monsters were present to witness and blessed the occasion and lamorin was the co-ordinator...

Lamorin and i were good friends and we love each other so much that we don't want to be separated, one day' we went to hunt in the evil forest, it got dark and as we were on our way home, we saw a cave with many entrance, lamorin said he want to enter one but I warned him not to do so, he didn't listen, he entered the hole and I quickly climbed up a tree to wait for him, not long after, a big monster with four eyes and six hands came out of the hole with a calabash filled with blood, he dropped it in front of a big tree and thank his creator for bringing to him a fat meal tonight and that was also the last time I heard of my friend... I waited till morning, shout out his name, but lamorin is gone, I cried and cried but that won't bring him back... And that was the end of my bossom friend....
