RE: One Thousand and One Nights: Aladdin and the Magic Lamp: 26th Night

Aladdin is very focused on etiquette. He always bathes and changes clothes before meeting someone important to make a good impression. The description of the bathing scene in the story is so vivid that it makes me feel like I am actually there.

This makes me think of Chinese body scrubbing.Chinese body scrubbing, also known as "cuo zao", is a traditional massage method that is usually offered in places such as hot springs, public baths, and beauty centers. It originated in ancient China and is considered an effective treatment method that can relieve physical fatigue and various bodily discomforts.

During the process of Chinese body scrubbing, a masseur uses a hard and smooth stone or towel to rub and knead the moistened skin. This massage method can promote blood circulation, relax muscles, eliminate fatigue, and also remove dead skin and dirt from the surface of the skin, making it smoother and more delicate.

Chinese body scrubbing has various benefits, including promoting metabolism, improving skin quality, alleviating muscle pain, enhancing immunity, and more. However, as direct contact with others' bodies is required during the process of body scrubbing, it needs to be carried out in a professional setting and attention needs to be paid to hygiene and safety issues.
