Lake Toba has always been the best for the best water tourism in Indonesia with a length of 100 kilometers, Lake Toba has always been a stunning local and foreign tourists. As an icon of North Sumatra Province Lake Toba comes with beautiful natural charm and amazing. Many mystical stories flourish in the community of volcanic tectonic lakes.
To reach Lake Toba you have to pass various valleys and caves and you will meet a mysterious cave. Once, many vehicles are experiencing engine die while crossing the cave.
People around Lake Toba also strongly believe in pronouncing 'Santabi Oppung' or reason while putting a lit cigarette that is capable to repel bad energy. Precisely in the village of Lake Toba (Tongging) a group of young men intend to climb the hill by driving a car. Not long after midnight, the vehicle they were traveling suddenly died suddenly. At the same time the spirit figure appeared, shocking the youths. From a story that developed in rural communities, the creature is a genie that waited for Lake Toba from hundreds of years ago.
From some mystery in Lake Toba myth Begu Ganjang is probably the most terrible. Ganjang is told as a life-threatening creature and always ready to pounce on the woodcutter around Lake Toba. His appearance is described as a big hairy creature. However, until now there has been no casualties that fell because of being disturbed by the creature Ganjang. Coastal Lake Toba keeps a haunted side that continues to be told by the people.
One of the stories is about an old man from the lake. According to local residents, a group of students from the University of North Sumatra have been harassed by spirits when photographed with friends, monkey sight with the look of an old man present in the middle of their photos.
