I don't think I understand the points being made. For instance:
The reader subconsciously understands the Virtues in this story provide positive benefits and the Vices lead to dire consequences
What is new in that? It is how stories have been told since the beginning of time
It is how stories have been told, but the Moral Premise is a TOOL that allows you to shape, mold, and show these things VISUALLY. Before now, we have always spoken in thought and opinion, but now it can be VISUALLY SHOWN and PROVEN. It is the TOOL and its use that makes this an innovation, not that it's been done before.
