Long ago, snails do not carry their homes anywhere. The first time a snail lived in a bird's nest that the parent had left behind a tree. The night was warm and the afternoon was cool because the leaves of the trees thwarted the sunlight that fell right into the nest where the slugs lived. But when the rainy season comes, the leaves can no longer block the falling rainwater. Snails become wet and cold from rain.

Then the snails move into the hole that is on the tree trunk, If the day is hot, the snails are well protected, even if it rains, the snails will not get wet and cold. Looks like I found a suitable home for me, murmured the slug in my heart.

But on a sunny day, came the woodpecker. Tok..tok ... tok ... woodpeckers continue to peck the tree trunks where the snails, snails become disturbed and can not sleep. Irritated, the slug descended from the tree trunk and searched for the next shelter. The snail found a hole in the ground, it seemed warm when the night came, thought the snail. Snails cleaned the hole and decided to stay in it. But as night came, the rats came digging from all directions to damage the snail's house. What to say, slugs leave the hole to find a new home.

Snails continue on to the beach full of rocks. The sidelines of the rock can be my home, the cheerleading cheerleaders. I can take shelter from the heat of the sun and rain, there will be no woodpeckers that will peck this rock, and the rats will not be able to dig a hole into this rock.

Snails can rest quietly, but when the tide rises up to the rocks, the snails are swept along with the waves. Once again the snails had to go looking for a new house. When walking out of the beach, the snail found an empty shell, beautiful and very light. Tired and cold, slugs enter the shell. Snails feel warm and comfortable then sleep curled in it.

When the morning came, the snail realized he had found the best home for him. This shell is perfect for her. I no longer need to go home soon if it rains, I will not heat anymore, nothing will bother me. I will take this house with me wherever I go.
