On August 18, 1968, 45-year-old Emil Barnea military technician, ignoring the warnings of the villagers, was in the Baciu Forest to spend a weekend away from the stress of the city. Together with him were his friend Zamfira Matea and two other family friends who wanted to keep their anonymity. Almost 13:00, while looking for firewood, Emil Barnea suddenly found himself shouting for friends. Back in the glade, with his friends, Emil Barnea came to see what appeared to be a UFO flying over at the speed of the little Baciu forest, without making any sound. The strange flying machine began to shine suddenly, making a maneuver in the air. Without a word, the UFO accelerated to the sky in a slightly oblique direction. Looking through the camera's viewfinder, Emil Barnea was able to surprise him in three frames.
