A great humanitarian story written by the Australian (Don Richie) who lived next to a famous slope that many people offer to commit suicide near his city
He decided to do something about it and he sat continuously on the slope for 45 years until he died in 2012 to try to persuade the person who committed suicide not to kill himself and during this period was able to convince more than 160 people to abandon the idea of suicide
(Don Richie) nicknamed the locals by the "slope owners" and won the Medal of Citizen of the Year in 2010 and the Local Hero Award in 2011 for his great humanitarian contributions.
Wow, he should be a hero then. Saving those lifes is not a normal thing.
thanks
