eu WATCH YOUR TONGUE

Death and life are on the power of the tongue, so says the bible. The tongue is the smallest member of the body yet it can heal, it can kill. A  hunter once lived in a  village where killing and eating vulture meat was an abomination. The person who disobeys that law will not live up to six months after the vulture meal.

Alas, the hunter on his way home one day after hunting, found a vulture feeding on a prey. He shot at it, killing it. He took it home, roasted and ate it.However he left the vulture's lap for the king who made the law against vulture meat. To his suprise the king accepted the vulture meat and ate it."this taste good", says the king "what animal is this?" he asked. "It is vulture", the hunter replied thinking he is as good as dead. But to his utmost suprise, the king thanked him and he went away.

The next day, the hunter expected himself to die but no death came. One month passed by, one year, two years, three........... and then after ten years the hunter found himself still alive. "This tradition is wrong" he says. "I will tell the king and his kinsmen that the law against eating vulture should be abolished".

So he attended a meeting with them, there he announced to them that eating vulture meat should be endorsed but he was reprimanded by the king that it could cause his life if he says that again ."No one should eat vulture in my kingdom" says the king."From the days of our fore fathers no one eats vulture meat and lives for six months" the king continues. Then the hunter couldn't control his tongue, he interrupted the king and openly confesses to have eaten vulture meat ten years ago. "I should have died ten yeas ago" he said sarcastically. He reminded the king that the meat he presented to him ten years ago was a vulture which the king ate instantly but never died. What would the king do? If it was you what would you do?

K

The king denied it a tritely, claiming that the gods whispered to him that someone was bringing him a vulture meal. That he should not eat it.The king lied that he never ate but buried it. The hunter kept arguing and mocking the tradition saying : "i ate it; i should have died ten years ago". Then he left

The next day the hunter died.

Now, what killed him? why did he stay alive for ten years before dying? Because he kept his tongue in cheek about the issue for ten years but the moment he spilled it, confessed to have dared and done something abominable, negative and opposed by his tradition he died. Don't  forget he kept arguing saying "i should have died ten years ago"(as if he wishes he had died)

Some traditions may really not be too strict but when one mocks it or say something against it the evil ones may capitalize on that and the person who said evil about it will see evil. For the hunter it meant death for him, death that he was spared from for ten years. JUST BECAUSE OF HIS TONGUE.

So ask yourself, how do you use your tongue? wisely? or unwisely? Do you confess negativity on yourself or are you positive?

Innocently you may say things and never mean it but the evil ones may cause that negative thing you have confess with your tongue to come true. Watch what you say , confess positivity in your marriage, in your children's life, on your job, on your problems and in all you do. Say only well with your tongue.

WATCH YOUR TONGUE.
