A Professor who claimed the world made itself one day entered an Art Museum, accompanied by his granddaughter.
“Aye, Professor Stuart…” the Curator welcomed them, clearly surprised.
He had frequently invited the Professor to visit the Museum but to no avail. Whatever had brought him today!
“I am glad to see you,” he started, next regarding the little Emily.
“How is mama?”
“She went for an errand” Emily answered, and pointing at the Professor, added, “So Grand pa had to bring me today.”
“Aaaa, I see!” He said, but the little girl was already sprinting off to the arts gallery section.
The curator was a very religious man, and had previously done everything to convince the Professor that God indeed, made the earth and everything in it but to no avail. He had finally given up.
“Let me show you to the gallery”, he now offered.
The curator mostly showed Professor Tom to the science and technology room, knowing only such ever really interested the Professor.
Finally they were done, and both were returning, when they noticed the girl had been missing.
The Curator had an idea of her whereabouts. The little girl’s favorite room was the sculptor room.
There, they found Emily silent, her eyes transfixed on the sculptor before her.
The sculptor of one of the most famous scientists quickly caught the Professor’s attention.
“Who made this?”
But before the curator could speak, little Emily cut in.
“It made itself, grandpa!’
“Impossible, Emily,” The professor said, “Look! Such beauty, the curves, the shaping….everything. Only intelligence can achieve that”
Emily smiled.
“But the world, Grandpa, is more beautiful…the stars, sun, us…How come you say it made itself? I think the Priest was right. It was made by a very wise man called Jesus!”
“The professor stood speechless.
