RE: Look What I Got For My Birthday!! ~ A Nice Surprise In The Mail ~ With Help From Stinky the Cat ~ Original Photography, Art, and Short Discussion ~

Researchers believe the word “tabby” comes from Attabiyah, a neighborhood in Baghdad, Iraq. Tabbies got their name because their striped coats resembled the famous wavy patterns in the silk produced in this city.

I used to have a long wool coat that was trimmed in really nice, fuzzy faux fur that I bought at an Army Surplus store in Normal, Illinois. It was really cool. Though no one ever called me Normal when I wore it. Or anything close to that. Is this similar, in a somewhat dis-similar sort of way?

In multi-cat households, cats of the opposite sex usually get along better.

What about one-cat households? But with a cat NEXT DOOR. Who gets along better then, across the fence? Is it the same, or is there another formula I should be reading about in my Cat Science Book? I hope you answer back this time, M. Kittyfact, as these things keep me up at night.
