eSTEeM is working across boundaries to bring together STEM academics to promote innovation and scholarship, whilst being responsive to strategic objectives.
We are working with external partners to promote the Open University as an innovation leader in order to enhance our presence in the external STEM environment and are seeking innovative ways of engaging employers, professional bodies and international partners into developing a distinctive and influential OU STEM agenda.
We are working in four priority areas:
Education for employment – working with employers, sector skills councils, professional bodies, HE STEM agencies etc.
International STEM education – promoting conversations about international challenge in supply of STEM graduates, associated teaching and learning models, and scholarship opportunities.
STEM engagement – promoting innovation, development and associated scholarship.
Enterprise – identifying opportunities to use Open University expertise in STEM education in spin-out activities and resources.
I love the idea of spreading critical thinking, etc.
If it is intended that the words "eSTEeM" are stylized as such, which seems to make sense, the the title is capitalizing the wrong letters. I would recommend editing soon as this site only gives about 7 days max. to edit posts.
