The power of music

When I was younger I was something like a song bird. Music had it's own special hold on me.



It was my go to when I had the blues, my comfort through a flu.



Now, as the years have came and gone, music amongst other things are changing. Whether or not it's for the better....🤔

When I turn on my television and hear what's going on with the lyrics in today's music😝

What happened to the story within the song? Where is the moral lesson behind the message?
Who are these artists talking to?
How can we put the purpose back into the music?



As a former little song bird, I can only hope that moving forward music will once again gain purpose. I'm thinking of all the little song birds that music has a hold on today. Let's give them something good to hold on to.



After all... It's more than just music.
