Beautiful Place in India (Stok Kangri)

Stok Kangri (6,153 meters (20,187 ft)) is the most elevated mountain in the Stok Range of the Himalayas in the Ladakh district of north-west India. The pinnacle is situated in Hemis National Park, 12 km southwest of the trailhead (3,610 meters (11,844 ft)) in the town of Stok and around 15 km southwest of the city of Leh, the capital of Ladakh.

In spite of its high elevation, Stok Kangri is a well known trekking crest and is regularly moved as an underlying non-specialized invasion into high height mountaineering. Be that as it may, the trouble of Stok Kangri is regularly disparaged and the need to adapt earlier and amid the climb makes Stok Kangri a persisting test.

In late July and August, everything except the highest point of the pinnacle might be without snow. The height information was checked by GPS readings from 11 satellites at the Summit amid a late July 2007 joint Nepalese-US undertaking which experienced snow cover for 85% of the last four-hour, four km, 900 meter climb.[citation needed]

The most limited course to the pinnacle is along the Stok valley, following the Stok Chu to Stok town. This present valley's touching scene, particularly close to the town, was crushed by the 2010 Ladakh surges, the most extreme in decades
