RE: SteemWorld News ~ Big Server-Update ahead!

Great work on SteemWorld, best all-in-one account information site available.

A quick observation about post rewards though.

SBD supply is being tightened up and part of SBD is being rewarded as Liquid Steem. Seen it before, nothing new. What is curious to me is the calculation done on how much a post reward is paying out. I've noticed that when adding up the dollar value of liquid Steem and SBD earned from a post, there's a descrepency of a few percent.

As an example (pulling numbers from my arse) let's say I'm supposed to get 28 SBD, but part of that is paid out as liquid steem. I end up getting 20 SBD and 5 Steem, with the Steem/SBD ratio on an exchange being 1.3/1 (I'm going by rough memory from a few days ago the last time I checked Steemworld just before a post paid out). This would end up shorting me a few dollars.

I can't be the only person observing this, just wondering if you @steemchiller have any insight into this. Is Steem perhaps using a different Median value of Steem that throws off the conversion? I know it's not my imagination, but it is throwing off the payout calculations on Steem World right now, at least by all appearances it is.
