RE: SteemWorld News ~ Coming Curation Rewards, Improved Payout Details (+ Beneficiaries Payout) implemented

in #steemworld7 years ago (edited)

Our steemworld keeps getting better. Thank you for your dedication to our platform, @steemchiller

I'm sure you're not serious about the moron feature.. Just to remark though, it isn't an entirely bad ideato present the information, and leave the inferences about why a vote was withheld up to the viewer of the data.

If one disagrees with the post, or ones VP is still low, or one waits for interaction from the content creator before voting - these are reasonable practices, are they not? If he also upvotes his comment, it may be he wants to bring the comment out of a morasse of spammy comments. One just never knows, until a situation is examined. Of course, maybe 7 out of ten are moronic.

I have something to ask about the interface:

  • in the follows pane, would it be possible to see rep score, SP, account value, and interaction index (that one you had a while ago), most recent post, tags used in recent posts! Stuff that can give a user an indication of the urgency to follow up and investigate an account.
  • I sometimes have issues with entering the key - it would be nice if the switch account button where a login sort of affair, so I would know my world is live so to speak.

thank you once again as always!

Thanks for your thoughts on this! I also think that the moron feature isn't an entirely bad idea, but as you said, there can be many reasons for not directly voting a post.

It is currently not possible to show user details in the followers section, because it would increase the loading time drastically especially for users with thousands of followers, but I'm thinking about adding a button that will show this kind of information in a popup or so.

it would be nice if the switch account button where a login sort of affair, so I would know my world is live so to speak.

What exactly do you mean with a login sort of affair? Something like using SteemConnect to store tokens for the private keys in cache?

Hello, my good friend - you're so dedicated to you work. The more I consider it, I think it's unnecessary to add either of those two things. I usually right click the account link and go look carefully at everything like user engagement, post quality and so on. A pop-up would be a nice thing but maybe asking too much.

When I want to follow someone back from the new followers pane, I can do that after I enter a post key. I guess I was wondering if that could be done once at the 'switch account' button.

Actually, I can't imagine how SteemWorld can get any better but I am sure you will think of something. Thanks so much.
