I guess it has to do with the Steem node you are using. You can switch to a different node in settings.
rpc.steemviz.comis very fast and works well for me.You're right. Thanks for the help. That made a huge difference!!! 😀
It took the time down from 4 or 5 minutes to around 30 seconds or so!
