If this issue continues, I will develop another curation bot service and provide it to kr community members. They now consist of about 7% of steemvoters voting power.

Go ahead... who is stoping you? Do all that work then see how you feel when people complain to you. Do it, I dare you and stop whining.

Sure, be ready to competition :)

Clayop, I think the community will welcome more options. Be sure and post a bunch of times for crowd funding. ;)

At the time of this comment post is 22 hours old, value 109.18, 1066 votes and 52 views. This will be the 4th comment! Happy New Year

So, someone wrote this program, and sold it. Whomever bought it, used Crowd funding to pay for it.

Now instead of charging the users of the product they charge the entire community, by using their vote to vote for all the same trending things each day.

When I ask about it, they state they are trying to keep the product free. However, I don't use your product.

Sounds like you are jealous... Green eye monster is going to get you... hahaha

No, bored, and annoyed.

Well take it elsewhere. If not we will ask our community if we can use their votes to down vote the hell our of annoying whiners.

Outsch.

I clicked on it to see what value these daily posts are adding to the community. I continue to discuss it with you, because, you are representing yourself so well.

Do what you need to. :) Don't worry nobody will see these comments nobody usually clicks on your posts.

Then why did you? Just to complain? Sound like a whining child?

We are sorry you feel this way, bear in mind according to our terms of service, this is a payout post to keep our services free; not for payment for giving authors a Spotlight, we thought it would be a good way to make better use of our posts than just providing stats.

Also being the holidays there are not very many new posts being put out at one time, and we don't want to "Spotlight" just any content, content needs to be new to coincide with the Spotlight visibility as much as possible.

Hope you understand and have a wonderful new year.

IMHO it is unfair to most Steem investors that you squeeze $100 worth every day.
Your service may benefit the platform and also those users not registered on your platform, but I doubt it's worth $100/day.

I think a lot of things are unfair in the world. What you are saying is that my work, and hard work at that to make steemvoter to provide a free service for a community is not worth $80-$100 a day? I put in many many hours to serve the community (as I know you have as well), and yet I think you should get more for your work, yet you think my work is worth less? So sad seeing a community fall apart.

We should both earn from our work thats not what i am trying to bring across. My problem is that those that benefit are a different group than those that pay your rewards.
Its not the value that bothers me, but the unalignment. If your payment posts actually carried some value that all steemians benefit from, then we would all be fine.

@marcgodard
I made myself clear in my replies. Whether people understand what I write is out of my control.
And yes, I have the freedom to agree or disagree on what ever i like.Further, i disagree on all your payment posts and yet tgis ia the first time i actually complain.
Eitherway, this discussion tells me enough to not further engage you verbaly.

This is why we moved to the spotlight post. We put work to find authors to spotlight. We manually do this. This helps the community. Just because YOU might not see value in that, doesn't means others don't. Does this mean that every post that makes $ that you didn't like you start commenting how unfair it is?

Doesn't the community decide that? Who are you to make that call? If the community thought that they would stop using our service. It just sounds like you are jealous. But guess what, just like some people put a lot of work into their posts and earn, we put that work into software. So stop your complaining.

So you expect the steem investors to pay for you closed sorce software? I myself am not a software dev but it makes no sense to me to sozialize costs at no benefit for the majority.

@macgodard, well there is no link or mention about those scripts anywhere on steemvotes.com.
Please let us know the address to your code.

We opened sourced all our scripts. Obviously you have done ZERO research. Perhaps you need to re-evaluate your position.
