The flower art consists of the task of making arrangements of all kinds with flowers and plants: bouquets, centerpieces, plants for interior ... or any other type of composition. But do you know how they differ from each other?
From Florista Navarro we want to dedicate our post today to explain the basic differences to distinguish one flower arrangement from another. The flowers, in their multiple varieties, help us to make many compositions. Some are clearly different from each other, but sometimes we are not clear about what kind of flower arrangement we are seeing. Next, we give you the keys so that you do not get confused when it comes to choosing.
Bouquets of flowers. It is also common that this type of floral composition is called Bouquet. They are distinguished because they are made without having a base, so they are transported in the hand. In these cases the stems of the flowers are visible, although sometimes you can not appreciate it due to the wrapping that the florist puts them. This type of arrangement is the most usual, it is a classic and fashionable composition, very easy to carry due to its light weight. Once received, the first thing we should do is put the flowers in a jug with water. It is advisable to add the indicated preservative to the water, or a little sugar. The stems should also be cut as one centimeter in length, to facilitate the absorption of water by the flowers.
Centerpieces In these compositions we have a base container that carries built-in water, so it is very comfortable. This type of floral arrangement can be done in many different ways, vertical, horizontal, round ... and also allow us to customize them on special occasions, adding other products such as a bottle of champagne, a teddy bear or chocolates. The type of base that the flowers used in these cases can also vary, we can choose a wicker basket, a glass vase or a container pot style.
Inside plants. In the case of plants to decorate interior rooms, types of containers are often used that are quite attractive to the eye, with ceramics being the most common material for these bases. In these types of compositions we can place plants with flowers, such as daisy or orchid, or choose to gather different groups of plants. The advantage is that if we ruin any plant we can replace it with another, without losing all the composition.
These are the three most common types of compositions with plants and flowers but, of course, there are many more. Now that you know a little more about flower arrangements, take the opportunity to set up your little garden at home.
We continue next week with more news.
A greeting.
