Coffee and Philosophy: Flow

Today's mug is brought to us by the wise wizard in the woods, @bilbop.
The bopper, show stopper, bass bringer, keeper of time, and my partner in rhyme.

I like to discuss the concept of flow with others a lot, but i haven't really talked about it much as a philosophy. I thought I'd share my thoughts on it with all of you today! I consider "flow" to just be a constant state of authenticity and self reflection. It's the ability to stay in the present moment, being at peace with the past, and not fearing the future. I have managed to pretty much change my entire life over the past six months by embracing this mindset and perhaps it is a philosophy in itself. The first step that I felt was necessary was to make peace with the past. Once we have fully processed repressed emotions and stop repressing them going forward, it allows us to get the present moment resembling what we want our life to be and giving up that need to control the future let's us enter a state of "just being." I call it flow, some call it observation, others call it perpetual self reflection. I don't really think what you call it matters, but making peace with things we have no control over and entering a state of serenity leads to a much more peaceful mindset and existence over all. I hope all of you are at peace! What do you think? Namaste.

I have had a full blown kundalini experience six months ago. Being forced to bid farewells to all the weights that were holding me down. I've learned much and my life has changed dramatically. Currently I am enjoying everything much more and I don't get angry because I can see what is ehat.
The so called "flow" is being able to experience life to it's fullest potential, being able to grasp everything that comes your way.
The one's that don't do it are walking think boxes, trapped in their own mazes. Mind over matter or matter over mind. Will you mind it if you don't matter to someone? Not really.

Cheers and thanks for rhe amazing post. Its good to see fluency in people these day's friend.

@philosophy-trail is my curation account, but rest assured I'll be following you on this one. It's funny because six months ago I had the same experience. Then again I don't really believe in the concept of "coincidence" anymore, so clearly we were meant to cross paths.

Guess so friend. And just so you know there are more people like me and you. Ive met many and have close friends who have the same experience. I could share some info with you if you want.
Giving you a follow back.

I have much to write yet it's hard to grasp by the many so I keep it at bay for the ones that can understand. At least for now.

Ya, I just tend to let it rip on my personal account and try to stick to basics on my curation posts. Feel free to dive into the deep end on either though, either people get it or they don't, it's not my concern, I'm just playing my part in all of this.

You got a good point there.
I will have a look in a sec. Well talk again in future posts ^^
Cheers

Awesome edition

This in the flow edition, I'm on a lyrical mission,
To enjoy philosophy time, with a little bit of rhyme.

When flow with the rhythm of life you progresses, fighting stalk and stagnates because what you resist persists.

To me the concept of flow, means accepting and going with the plans that the universe has for us, it is mostly likely to be the path of least resistance. It also means to be able to accept uncertainties as part of our lives as I wrote in my post.

Self-awareness and simple "Being-ness" can take a while to arrive at... for me, a long gradual process of identifying and letting go of the "stories" I would tell myself and believe to be The Truth. The hardest, perhaps... to let go of tendencies to be a Human DO-ing... identifying by what I "do." Of course, the world reinforces that, over and over... what's the first question we hear at gatherings? "So what do you DO?"

Preferably... as little as possible...

Right now, this very instant, our life happens,
Be here now,
Or whenever you can make it! Namaste.
Thank you for the shout out my friend.

:) Always, everyone should know the wise wizard in the woods.
