SteemToolbar is a Google Chrome extension that lets you keep track of Steem's key metrics and lets you monitor these values in real time.
In the previous update posts, I announced several new features added to the SteemToolbar:
- Voting Manabar
- RC Mana
- Comments and upvotes limits
- steempeak.com support
- steemitwallet.com and partiko.app support
For a complete description of SteemToolbar features, read the above mentioned posts.
What’s new in the last version (v1.5.1)?
Multiple accounts support
This long awaited feature is now available and you will be able to easily display information about all accounts you manage.
To add an additional account to your toolbar, open the option popup window, then click the small “+” sign:
A new window will show up where you can add your new account:
Hit return to validate and register your account. It will now be available in the accounts list.
If you want to remove an account from the list, simply click on the small “x” on the right of the account.
The SteemToolbar will now be able to display information about your new account.
To switch from one account to another, open the option menu and select your account in the dropdown. The SteemToolbar will be instantly updated with the related account data.
How to update or install SteemToolbar?
If you already installed SteemToolbar, it will be updated automatically. You may have to reconfigure your settings has I have completely rewritten the extension from scratch for better performances and resources use.
For more information on how to install and configure the SteemToolbar, read this post

Great news. I've been using Steem Toolbar for months.
But after the update, there seems to be a problem fetching the Steem and SBD prices.
I see 'STEEM $ object Object' - same for SBD
Try to reset your parameters by unchecking/checking the failing values in the option box.
You may also remove and reinstall the extension.
Feel free to contact me if your problem persist.
Already tried - even reinstalled again. GOLOS and GBG give the same output. I'll try again tomorrow - clean everything and reinstall again. Will let you know if it worked.
Uninstalled, cleared my entire Chrome history, re-installed, but the problem persists. I assume it is a conflict with another extension. Only need to figure out which one
I reviewed the code and tested the extension on different computers but could not reproduce your problem.
I really wonder why such behavior 🤔
I deleted the policy that was set in chrome, ran Panda cloud cleaner and ADWcleaner, and the problem seems to be solved :0)
Everything is back to normal :0)
Great, I'm so glad you solved it. Thank you for the feedback 👍
No problem. It took me quite some time to figure out what was wrong and even more to fix it, but I'm glad I managed. I felt pretty lost without my toolbar.
It's funny how you can get so used to something that you only realize how much you depend on it when it's gone... 😂
Btw, I only found out last week that you are Belgian, or at least live there. Now I'm very curious about where you're at...

I've just spent almost two hours getting rid of the “Managed by your organization” notice in Chrome. There was a policy set, and - it took me a while - but I managed to remove that policy. I thought that might fix the issue. I'm still running some cleanup/detection tools to see if something is responsible for setting that policy, but so far, no result. I've uninstalled and installed once again, but still seeing the same message. Next step will be resetting Chrome to the original settings. I'll keep you up to date
