Comparing statistics on the number of people who use the Android to other operating system, it may be concluded that the Android is by far the operating system with the highest number of users. It is quite cheap compared to the iOS and easily available in gadget stores around, it has a wide range of subsidiary media accessories which can be used with it.
Although, the Android has a lot of the basic functions that a phone is expected to perform, there are a number of other functions you probably may not know it can perform.

Things your android can do you probably haven’t heard about:

1. Map Location
Are you stranded in a place with no idea about your geographical location? Or you wish to visit somewhere from your present destination. Google Maps is there to rescue. You can use the Google map on your Android phone to determine your present location and find out about other places around you. You can also use your Google map to find shops and stores around you.
2. Use Xender with your PC
Do you need to send some files to your PC from your phone or vice versa but you do not have a connecting cord? Your android phone can help you make use of your Xender or any other like applications to send videos, files, and even audios quite easily. To do this just, “Connect to PC” through your Xender and turn on your PC’s Wi-Fi to search and connect.

  1. Chrome Access anywhere
You are not with your PC but you need to access the tabs you have on the browsing history? You can use your Android Phone! As long as you are logged in on your Goggle Chrome, then a login with your Phone as well will allow you access to those tabs.
    4. Solve mathematical problems with your phone
With applications such as Photo Math you can easily solve mathematical problems by taking a picture of it and then expect a comprehensive work out from your phone.
    5. Use Voice Search
You might have heard about SIRI, a iOS robot that help the iPhone users operate their phone easily, by giving command. You can also do that on your Android. It’s Voice Search, a system application from Google. To operate, open the app and instruct it on what to do or search for.
    6. Unlock your phone automatically at home
All day, at work or at parties, you keep your phone on lock in order to protect vital files and information. But on getting home, you want your phone unlocked for easy accessing? Your Android phone can help. It’s about adding the location of your home to your trusted location. Therefore, on entering the trusted vicinity, it automatically unlocks.
    7. Connect your Flash Drive to your Phone
You have some documents on your flash drive that you need to access but there is no system around? It can be done quite easily with your OTG cable. An OTG cable has two ends, one of which fits perfectly into your Android’s charging point while the other fits any USB Device. So, no longer do you need a system as intermediary between your phone and your Flash Drive.
