Plastic wastes are a pain in the assembly and it's good to read that there's increasing development in the area of making them ecofriendly.
Reports comparing the energy costs per production of bio-plastics and conventional plastics have also shown that the energy/fossil fuel consumed in the production of many bio-plastics is lower than the oil based plastics.
This been said, why don't we have enough already? Monetary cost?

It's a relatively new development and already in use. It will surely take a while before they can totally replace conventional plastics owing to the fact that they have been in circulation for generations. More so, there are still concerns as mentioned in the post
