Earth isn't known as 'the water planet' for nothing, and its existence as the only planet with the presence of life forms yet known owes it all to water -the matrix of life
Does this mean that if other planets could have as much water as the earth, life existence would have been possible ???
The importance of water is overwhelmingly important because every living thing cycles water through their bodies and need it for growth.
Planet earth is really blessed with this compound. .. But humans are arbitrarily abusing its abundance and the consequences are revealed in flooding, as agent of disease transmission etc
Very informative writeup.
Kudos on your effort
Yup. The presence of water supports life. For years, astronomers have been searching for extraterrestrial life, and If the life we find is anything like what we're expecting (Maybe with a face and limbs made of cells),then it would survive on water, or a life-giving fluid berry similar to water. Hence, one unique pointer or indicator of the presence of life is a fluid like water.
