Well, those two fields are definitely correlated, however the main difference is that Geophysics as a scientific field is also concerned with the physical processes and properties of our planet's surrounding space environment, whereas Geology is all about the structure of the Earth, the properties of the materials it is comprised of and the way those parameters change over time.
