i did my first wireless RC boat using the already existing remote controller and receiver of an old RC car i had !! i was 15 years old !! try finding a scrap RC device with its remote and remove the circuit and put it in your boat !! below my boat and how i built it !! :)

well it should not be hard to do !! once you've got the circuit from an old RC car you just need to connect things together !! just open your broswer and search for some guides to build RC boat and you will find plenty guides !!
