No, it's not functional enough in that regard even if that was our goal. The blockchain means you can publish wherever you want

We are weighing those options, but I think we are trying to look for different ways to earn revenue and grow the project further. Still a lot more discussion happening on the back side :)
There is no mandatory usage (in fact, we can't even check). At some point, we will incentive users to user our app, but we first need to fix many bugs before getting there. Anyways, welcome back to SteemSTEM!
