Steemsports is back with the news and scoops on the workings of the Summer European Transfer window, and once again your presenter @feekayo is here to supply the juice. The Rumor mills have been busy since last we spoke and there is much ground to cover. So, without further ado, let's get right into this!

The Latest Rumors

Swansea City FC are said to have put a 40 million pounds price tag on their star player, Gylfi Sigurdsson. The player who has been on Swansea's books since 2014 is widely expected to leave this summer, following another impressive season in the Liberty Stadium, where he contributed 9 goals and 13 assists the last time out to help Swansea City win their fight against regulation. The midfielder was rumored to have been the subject of a rejected 25 million bid last summer, however, a move never materialized.

The Alexis Sanchez transfer rumors continue to grow unabated. The Arsenal FC talisman is said to be weighing up a move to the German champions team, FC Bayern Munich. However, it is reported that Bayern Munich are balking at the 21.85 million dollars yearly wage package demanded by Sanchez and his representatives as they believe such a huge yearly bill will damage their wage structure.
The rumor mills also link the Chilean to make a shock reunion with Pep Guardiola, the man who bought him while he was in charge of FC Barcelona. However, Arsenal is said not to have given up hope on him staying and are said to be fighting tooth and nail to keep their star man at the Emirates stadium.

A deal is rumored to be in the works to move the 34 year old, right back, Dani Alves from Juventus to Manchester City FC where he is expected to replace the recently released Pablo Zabaleta & Bacary Sagna. The former Barcelona man joined Juventus on a free transfer last summer and had a very successful first season with Juventus, lifting the Scudetto and Copa-Italia, while also helping them to the Champions League final. A year still remains on his contract with the Turin giants. However, Juventus are said to be ready to allow him to leave for the right offer and Pep Guardiola, who bought the player from Sevilla while in Barcelona, is said to be keen on his old boy as he continues to overhaul his squad.

Chelsea's FC starlet Tomas Kalas is rumored to be on his way to Hull City FC, where he is set to become the Tigers’ first signing under the new boss, Leonid Slutsky. The 24 year old, who made only two appearances for the Blues during his 3 year stint with the London Giants was priorly expected to move to Chelsea's neighbors, Fulham FC; following a loan spell down Kings Road. However, the personal relationship between former Russian manager (and current Hull manager), Slutsky and Chelsea FC owner, Roman Abramovich seems to have swung the deal in the Tigers’ favor.

Mohamed Salah is still being rumored to be on the brink of a move to Liverpool. However, progress is being rumored to have been made as a rumored 39 million pounds fee is said to have been agreed with AS Roma for the wide-man. The deal, however, is said to be dependent on a medical which is said to be set for this week. The wide-man will be just Liverpool's second signing of the transfer window.

Paris Saint Germain are rumored to be prepared to once again make Cristiano Ronaldo the most expensive player in history. The 32 year old Balon d'or holder is rumored to be very unsettled in Spain following a tax fraud case. The forward has been accused of defrauding the Spanish government of 14.7 million pounds in taxes. This is said to have caused the Portuguese talisman to grow tired of Spain and he is said to be looking for a way out of the Iberian country. His situation is said to have alerted numerous suitors to the potential availability of a player who is arguably the best in the world. The French giants are rumored to be ready to make a 140 million pounds bid for the 32 year old. He is also rumored to be set to receive 30 million a year if the deal goes through.

Olympic Lyonnais are rumored to have made a move for the Chelsea wonder-kid, Betrand Traore. The attacker was loaned to Ajax last season where he became an integral part of the team that reached the Europa League final. The Burkinabe youngster had a very impressive season with Ajax where he contributed 13 goals. His performances last season has drawn a lot of attention from a host of clubs in Europe. However, it seems Lyon have moved ahead of the other clubs as their President announced in a press conference that they are in advanced talks with Chelsea for his signature.

Confirmed Deals

AS Monaco have signed the midfielder, Soualiho Meite from LOSC Lille. The defensive midfielder spent last season on a loan with Zulte Watergem where he made 52 appearances and scored a solitary goal. He has signed a 5 year deal with the French Champions for an undisclosed fee. He is Monaco's third signing of the season, following the arrival of defender Jordy Gaspar on a free transfer from Lyon and the 25 million signing of Youri Tielemans from Anderlecht.

Everton have signed the England under-21 international, Jordan Pickford on a 5 year deal for a club record 30 million. The deal makes Pickford the third most expensive goalkeeper behind Gianluigi Buffon and Ederson. The deal includes an initial 25 million upfront payment with 5million in add-ons. The deal was sealed at England's under-21 training camp in Poland where Everton flew in his representatives to complete the deal.

Malaga forward Sandro has completed a medical ahead of a move to Everton FC. The former FC Barcelona man will become Ronald Koeman's third summer addition after the signings of Jordan Pickford and Davy klassen. The attacker is currently away on Spain under-21 international duty. However, the deal is set to be completed during the week. The fee is reported to be exactly 5.2 million. Which is the release clause of his contract with the La Rosadela club.

For now, news on Asian & African club transfers are difficult to track because of poor local news coverage about the happenings there

Ok however work hard on it...will add more value to your posts

Yeah, We'll be looking into that in the coming weeks. Thanks for your suggestion

this is a good report

Hey @steemsports, good post. I am a fairly new Steemer and recently got started here. I would love it if you could take a minute to look at my profile page and follow me if my content interests you. Thankyou!

To be honest, I'm not expecting Pep to acquire Sanchez because he is just a typical player for Barcelona. A recipient of the passes from Messi, Xavi and Iniesta. Though he's a great finisher. It would have been very okay if they target Columbian Radamel Falcao :)

Nice update@steemsports

Really enjoy your sports knowledge mate good work
