Welcome to the first in (hopefully) a long series of game types brought to you by @steemsports. Once a week (if not eventually more) I will publish a fight post offering SBD to those that know the sport of mixed martial arts and boxing best... this mostly pertains to the UFC.
If I do expand into ONE FC and Bellator, it will be because so many people are intrigued by the initial UFC contests. This is purely for fun, and this was the original intent of SteemSports in the first place. Hopefully we can give back to the sports community with this initiative...
...and if you are a sports fan but don't know combat sports too well, make sure to guess anyway because you can still win! I publish articles every week on betting tips and fighters most likely to impress, so make sure to follow me @brandonk to know when the contests are being released.
I will most likely do these towards the end of the week so we don't overpopulate the contest, and have multiple winners splitting the prize. To reduce the possibility of multiple winners, I have set up a guessing platform in which there are many alternate tie-breakers which will come in handy.
It is very hard to attain a perfect card, and I have only picked a perfect slate twice in my life.. so I will simply poll on who does best out of the main card predictions. Pick a winner for each fight, and in terms of tiebreakers, we will do a poll on how many takedowns you believe will be landed in the entire event. (A takedown is when an opponent is taken to the ground). We will start today, and this will apply to UFC 222: Cyborg vs. Kunitskaya.

Frankie Edgar vs. Brian Ortega: Edgar....He's still at the top of his game IMO and getting better.
Sean O'Malley vs. Andre Andre Soukhamthath: O'Malley....Just a guess, don't know a lot about these fighters.
Stefan Struve vs. Andrei Arlovski: Struve.....I think Arlovski has really lost a step over the last 2 or 3 years. He's one of my favorite fighters, but I think he gets beat here.
Cat Zingano vs. Ketlen Vieira: Zingano. Another guess.

I know I have some strange ones there, and I do really think cyborg is going to win, as she is so dominant and kunitskaya is also moving up in weight... but why not go for a few crazy upsets!
