On November, 13th at 7:45 PM UTC, the triumpher of last year's Euro, the national team of Portugal will host play on their home turf against one of the outsiders of group B, the national team of Latvia.

Portugal, the Euro 2016 Champs are very lucky that they were placed in a easy group... Sure, they do have some competitive teams in the group including, Sweeden and Hungary; but, the Portuguese have more than enough power to compete with all these teams and they should finish the qualifiers in first place!

Чемпионы Евро 2016 попали не в самую сложную группу. Да у них в группе есть сборная Швейцарии, которая всегда находится в статусе топ сборных, есть и неуступчивая сборная Венгрии, которая преподнесла сюрприз на последнем чемпионате Европы, с которой португальцы смогли сыграть только вничью. Но все эти сборные по зубам португальцам и они должны выходить из своей группы с первого места, тем более находясь в статусе чемпионов континента.

Keep in mind, in Portugal's first game in the qualifiers, they lost to their main rival in a fight for the first place against Switzerland where the scored finalized at 0-2. After that, Portugal picked up two very important victories over the 'outsiders' of their group, Andora and the Faeroe Islands, Portugal beat each of them 6-0! At the moment, Portugal is ranked in second place of their group with 6 points... Currently, Switzerland is in first place ahead of the Portuguese by only 3 points, if Switzerland loses and Portugal wins, Portugal has a very good chance of taking the first place position!

Сборная Португалии начала свой отбор не совсем удачно: в первой же игре она на выезде проиграла главному конкуренту в борьбе за первое место, сборной Швейцарии 2-0. После этого были добыты две очень уверенные победы над аутсайдерами группы, сборными Андорры и Фарерских островов, с идентичным счетом 6-0. На данный момент подопечные Фернанду Сантуша находятся на втором месте, имея в своем активе 6 очков. Швейцария идет на первом месте, опережая португальцев на 3 очка, поэтому каждая потеря очков для победителей Евро 2016 станет крайне катастрофической.

Latvia / Латвия

Unfortunately, Latvia has not won a tourney/championship since their triumphal win in the 2004 Europian Championship... According to numerous forecasts, it is not looking very well for the Latvians, the forecasts show Portugal and Switzerland having more points than Latvia by a landslide... At the moment, Latvia only has 3 points in their possession and they stand in last place in their division as they only beat Andorra.

Сборная Латвии после триумфального выхода на чемпионат Европы 2004 года больше на турниры такого ранга не попадала. В соответствии с многочисленными прогнозами латыши не претендует на то чтобы навязать борьбу Португалии и Швейцарии за путевку на финальную часть ЧМ 2018 в Россию. На данный момент у сборной всего 3 очка и она идет в турнирной таблице на пятом месте, опережая всего лишь сборную Андорры. Хотя старт для сборной Латвии вышел удачно, она в выездной игре обыграла сборную Андорры со счетом 0-1.

В последующих двух матчах, которые проходили на домашней арене, латыши проиграли, сначала довольно неожиданно сборной Фарерских островов, а позже и сборной Венгрии. Поражения были с одинаковым счетом 0-2. Уровень игры сборной Латвии оставляет желать лучшего. Главным козырем латышей может стать игра «автобусом», играя от глухой защите на контратаках.

How to Play

• Vote on the main post to enter the bet (main post rewards will also be added to the Stake Pool).

• Cast your Vote Bet on ONLY ONE outcome for which you bet on for the win (Multiple comment votes will be automatically disqualified by the script, unvote and revote counts as multiple votes and will be disqualified).

• After 24 hours, the post and related game comments payout to the pool; remember 25% voters rewards are deducted from the total post payout value first as per Steem curation rules. Voters are rewarded in standard fashion in proportion to their Steem Power holdings.

The Stake Pool:

• The remaining 75% of the total payout is paid out in 50% Steem Power and 50% in liquid currencies, the latter now varies in payout ratio after the new fork. To make the process less complicated, we have decided to use all paid out SBD to buy Steem in the internal market to create a grand total Steem Stake Pool.

• 30% of the Stake Pool will be retained, of which 15% will go to the writer/sports presenter of the post, and the 15% balance towards editing, development and advertising.

• 70% of the Stake Pool will be held until the event/game outcome is determined.

• Once the winning outcome is determined, we will execute a proprietary developed script that will divide and pay out the Steem rewards equally, using the Power Up method, to Mass Distribute SP to all participants that voted on the main post as the entrance fee as well as voted on the correct comment representing the winning outcome.

• Only participants with a Reputation of 35 or more will qualify to earn SP rewards, but non-qualifiers can still vote and comment in support of the redistribution initiative.

• Entry cut-off time is the earlier of the post payout or the start of the event.
