Mike Perry is arguably one of the maddest men on the planet, his disregard for formality in and out of the cage makes him the animalistic beast he is. Perry is a brawler at heart, and any fight with this man ends with both parties disheartened and battered at some point or the other.
Besides a setback lost to welterweight contender Alan Jouban, Perry is a fighter who has 12 wins, all by finish. No submissions or anything too technical should be expected from this mad man, his brawlish boxing and rush tactics are enough to put down even the most durable of fighters.

Santiago Ponzinibbio is his challenger this coming Saturday, and after his last win against Gunnar Nelson by first round knockout, fans are seeing this man as the true threat he is. Arguably Santiago does have some dirty ways in regards to eye pokes and finding range with his long arms, but he is also deadly powerful.
This one may start out technical as both men are weary of the other's weapons, but as soon a few minutes pass by there will be blood and fury sprawled across that cage. This fight will not see the score cards one way or the other, both men are too hungry and powerful for their own good.

As durable and hard hitting as Mike is, we have seen some of his tendencies exploited over time. His only loss to Jouban had him at range searching for an answer to blistering kicks slapping him upside the head or scathing him every few seconds. Santiago is not limber like Jouban but he can surely garner the same type of kicking style.
I expect Perry to emerge from this battle victorious, but only because I believe that both men have no option to brawl. The art of the brawl is Perry's world, it is his life long passion to get in the Octagon and throw hands with the best of them. May the best man win in this battle of attrition and carnage.

I also think Perry would win, but Ponzinibio is the betting favourite for this fight. There are many good fights on this card but this one is the fight i am most excited about

Absolutely, RDA vs Lawler is insane as well!

I think a lot of people overlook Perry's strength. For the class he fights in, he's exceptionally strong and one of the reasons I feel he lost a decision to Jouban over being finished by Jouban.

Absolutely, and he continually gets better in ways that suit his style better. People under rate his technical ability but this is still a fight, and he is a fighter. Thanks for the comment, you know your mma!

I always knew Riyad Mahrez would switch professions.

Ponxinibbio won with a smart strategy, but Pary is the real brawler here and is fun to wach him fight
