RE: NBA Finals Game 3 Preview: Cleveland Cavaliers vs Golden State Warriors

Most definitely agree with your insight @steemsports! I believe Cavs will win simply because the offense will flow a lot more cohesively, with Kyrie at the point of attack. LeBron's going to get his, but I see the most important key is their shooters! JR Smith (streaky), Kyle Korver, Channing Frye, even Iman Shumpert, and Deron Williams have to make an impact!

Another key which you touched is extremely important, and that is Tristan Thompson. He must be a dominant force, especially with rebounding, pick and roll coverages, and help defense. The better he can contain the guards on the perimeter by himself on switches, the better Cleveland can stay home and play man to man defense.

Of course, that is better said than done, especially with great isolation scorers like Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry on the other side. If any of the Golden State Big 3 (Steph, Klay, Kevin - Draymond's good, but not streaky good offensively), it could be a nightmare on defense playing 1-on-1.

I still think the Cavs win next game though, so I am definitely with you on that! Thanks for the prediction @steemsports. It was tremendously written and overall insightful :)

I agree with what you said. Just wanted to add that there are many talks that Shumpert will start the game instead of JR Smith who was playing worse than one could expect. I would support this change in the starting line-up as well. Also, thanks for the nice words!

Thank you! Oh, that will definitely be good. Shump's a pretty good defender and is interchangeable between positions! I expect JR to be more aggressive with the 2nd unit if ever (even though usually one or two of the Big 3 are on the floor at all times for long periods of each quarter. And Shumpert has a good three point stroke as well, so I would definitely support the lineup change also!

And of course, it's great to hear good basketball insight from others :-)
