Whats up everyone hope you all are having a great day. I wanted to share my experience pouring silver into my first wood molds! I didnt take pictures of the molds when I made them sadly but I basically made a square and a rectangle shape using a chisel, took me about an hour to make both.
My first pour was the small square I used 1oz, I was aiming to do the first pour just to get the wood to charcoal then get all the cool lines and stuff on the second pour.
I think the 1oz was ok so I moved onto the bigger pour of 3oz
Got a cool picture of it right when I poured it! This is the second pour on the bigger mold
And now for the final result
Really loving this bigger pour! lots of detail!
Next step is to get a nice set of metal punches and get my own logo on these bars

Looks like fun.
I like just about any poured silver, but the wood pours always seem to come out with the most character! Looking good, man!
Thanks, their is just something about poured silver that makes it nicer then pressed
Yup! Its got more character and life to it, it has a sort of "ancient" feel even if it just got poured yesterday...
