The Story of Me and My Wife’s Accident Update......Sugery This Friday

Well we finally got the call we have been waiting on. West Virginia University Ruby Memorial Hospital called yesterday morning and they have moved my wife's surgery up to this Friday. After a long week of her getting worse and worse, we now will be leaving in the morning for the trip we've been waiting on for what seems forever, it will be about a 4 hour drive!
In the last week she has had around 7 doctor appointments and then Tuesday night we spent 10 hours in the emergency room only for them to do nothing for her. We came home yesterday morning and around 9:00 am we got the call. Thank god!!!
She will have tests ran all day Thursday and meet with the anesthesiologist. Then surgery is set for Friday morning around 9:00 am. The doctor is going to take her femoral head in her hip out and half of her femur bone. He will be replacing it with what he is calling a hip spacer. It has antibotics in it that will release gradually over time and try to fight the infection. Not sure how long she will have to spend in the hospital but I would say 2 or 3 weeks atleast. Hopefully this will lead to a total hip replacement.
So for all my silver and gold followers I will probably not get to run any raffles for a week or two but I plan to do a update each day we spend there. I will be looking for some coin shops while i'm there too. But my main concern will be her.
