Hey guys I've been able to build the algorithms for the tiers are it's pretty much all ready to go. You may notice some slight fluctuations with your voting over the next few days.

Tiers

Just a little more information, the tiers are a way to simplify things from the back end and make it way easier then to calculate a return vote for everyone individually based on what they send. Also it was overwhelming to try to change vote weights since I was clicking around a million places. Now it's hosted in a much simpler form and I can changed the weights for whole tiers when I need to make some adjustments.

The hope is it will also help to increase some donations and delegations from some of the smaller members to make everything a bit more sustainable long term.

With the recent SBD bump, Stax will be able to contribute a huge amount to the lease herself through post rewards and the curation continues to add to some power to her as well.

I am thinking something like this for the tiers. It is weighted slightly more heavier to the minnows and they will see a slightly higher ROI but the Gold and Silver members will still see there post payout higher than the contributions. Currently Stax's 50% vote is worth $4.75, so at 1 post/day for 30 days, you would receive $142.5 in post rewards, not the mention the extra from current SBD price.

Currently we have much more members on the bottom and I am hoping for a few other big investors to step up and try to achieve the higher ranks. It will only increase the votes for everyone.

Gold =100STEEM or more donation (50-75% vote)
Silver=50STEEM =(25-35)%vote
Nickel=10STEEM =10%vote
Copper=Smaller donations or 90%>Vote for Stax-6%
Member= no/limited support -1% Vote

I have already moved over all the copper, nickel and members over to the new algorithm and there's only a few people in the higher tier and they will stay with there personalized values for till the end of the month. We had alot of members in the 10-18% range so all those people are currently getting a 15% vote in the nickel tier until the end of the month.

Once the end of the month comes I'll be toying with all the tiers to get everything into a perfect balance. I did have a bit of extra power recently so you may have seen some comment votes, but I think it's back in equilibrium now.

You can also start sending any donations now and you will likely be upgraded early to the next tier since I'm routinely into the program to make changes.

I also want to once again remind everyone that now that we are using this new program to cast the votes, the "quality post algorithm" will once again take effect. This means post with less than 100 words will not be voted on. This would exclude posts with only video links or photos.
