The US dollar is currently worth .93 cents USD. why is know one talking about this? Are people so blind that they cant see this?

So lets looks at this in a simple form.

If you have $1.00 USD, it is now worth $0.93 USD, or maybe lets look at it this way, if you make $10.00 an hour at your job, you really are only making $9.30 an hour.

Here a chart of the dollars decline over the past 3 months.

Thats a significant drop in 3 months. Is this your warning sign?

Maybe this will hit home for you.

If you have $100,000 in your savings account, the value of that $100,000 is down to $930,000. Thats a 7% loss.

How much more will you lose untill you do something about it?

What can you do about it, you can move into tangible asset.

gold, silver, platinum, palladium, copper these are all examples of tangible assets.

As a 20 year stacker, I've been planning for this eventuality. I don't know WHEN it's going to happen, I just know it's GOING to happen. It HAS to happen!

Oh it will happen!!! Soon if i had to take a uneducated guess. Keep stacking buddy

Now convert that to the Canadian dollar and u can see why all my shoes have holes in them haha

You and I both, silver, new shoes? Silver, new shoes? I am going with silver. Thanks for the visit my friend.

No pesos to buy new shoes damn. You must be hitting rock bottom lol.

I might have begun; have you seen THIS VIDEO?

Great video, thanks for the link.

Now taking in account the purchasing power of that dollar today its worth about 3 pennies

EXACTLY!!! Bullion is better!!! It won't run out of batteries, or become inaccessible when the power goes out. You just can't beat THE REAL THING!

This is one of the top reasons I started stacking! It's been just over a year but I cashed out my 401k (that kept hemmorrhaging money) and all my savings (technically not at a negative interest rate but we all know better) and now I'm sitting pretty on some shiny stuff that's already appreciated a bit! Great post, thanks for sharing as always!

Smart stacker @ timitwist , i also cashed out my 401k, cost me a penalty, but its in silver now, just waiting. Thanks for the visit and comment. Keep stacking buddy.

You guys will be the two richest men in Babylon!

Thats the plan my brother, you are going to be right there with us.

This is 1 of the main reason i started stacking. Plan was to stack and preserve wealth. Same plan 4 years on. The british pound has taken a hammering since briexit so i am already benefiting from stacking PM's. My vaule of my bank balance is down but the vaule is my silver is more. Slowly but surly getting there, the dollar will last for years and its callapse will be a slow dragged out process. Stack on buddy

Last for years, I hope you worng. I can see a collaspe before 2018. Stack it high while its low.

You seeing Trump as the fall guy? That, i think could be possible within the next 4 years.

Fall guy, clean up guy, blame guy, etc.. but yes i see it happening on his watch.

Another great post RB! It's shocking to see the decline in purchase power. My heart goes out to all those good grannies and grandpas who have been diligently saving in their bank accounts...

Well.... I've seen DXY lower. I'm just waiting for that woosh sound where it goes completely down the toilet so I can cash in my short SPX positions and make bank on my stack of silver.... I ain't the Silver Surfer for no reason....LOL

Thanks silver surfer for the comment and visit. Keep stacking my friend.

Yeah people need to be stacking for sure. The bottom is going to fall out eventually.

Agree, thanks for the visit my friend.

I have totaled $9.05 for my last 40 Posts so far...
Seems that what I have to say should be worth more...
I see this one post of yours from yesterday is
already at $31.28... You're doing great...
@pocketechange

Hmm, I appreciate that. I never see any new post from you, everything is just saying check out my previous post, with a nice design of pocket change as the picture. I believe some what in your theory and would live to upvote a new post from you. Cant help but notice that you comment on my post with out upvoting, do you not like them? Or are you trying to get an upvote for your comment?

That was all very funny... I do refine my Posts, but it's not easy trying to explain my Pocket Change Theory in every single Post... Very few people take the time to read my Posts... I try to tap into their curiosities... I think I could be best served by People Resteeming my Posts... What I've been telling people is very important... You don't need to upvote this... As you may have seen in my Pictures... I have lots of pennies... By the way... A comment from me is similar to a thousand dollar upvote... One more thing... The comments and replies on my Posts, "do" make each of my Posts new... People ask questions and I try to answer them... As per the question about your Post... I think it could use a little editing... I edit mine over and over...
@pocketechange

Ok, not to for sure what was funny, if you believe in your theory, then why give up? I visited your posts with an open mind when you first started. I also believe in your theory to a point. Just dont understand why you do not upvote. Right now you have 100% upvote strength. Why arent you using it?

I usually upvote those who comment on my Post...
I'll have to check to see if I missed any of yours...
Thanks for bring that to my attention...
@pocketechange

You have a typo... 7% deduction from 100,000 dollars is 93,000 not 930,000

Very interesting article ray

This is not good and hopefully it is temporary. Last year we saw a very similar dip but the dollar pulled back up.

interesting times! peace

Buy low, sell high... this would then be the time to load up on it, not to trade it at a loss for something more valuable... right?

Though, it's still pretty significantly up from just a few years ago:

New video.

In 1913 Gold was $20.67/oz., which could buy you a tailored suit, hat, tie, leather belt and shoes. Try buying all of that with the same $20.67 today! However, and ounce of gold will still get you the nice outfit today-Gold is a store of value, the dollar is a depreciating currency. Keep stacking the gold and silver while it is artificially suppressed by the bankers!

No, that is not right, you have to buy it with what an ounce of gold costs which is about $1267 today, there are shoes that cost more than that.

I definitely could get a decent suit with everything for $1267, maybe not Armani, but the point being that gold holds its value much more than the dollar.

lol... Clever answer...
@pocketechange

And in ancient Greece, an ounce of gold would buy you a well made toga and a pair of sandals -- seriously!

That is why Steem is the way to go!!!
