Maple leaf shaped Coins from the Royal Canadian Mint.

You may have figured out by now I'm more of a collector and a sucker for the more fancy and unique silver rounds and coins.

Well I used to be way more of a sucker and spend a lot of money at the Royal Canadian Mint. Don't get me wrong I do like the peices but I had way too many of them. Eventually I found my way more to bullion and the semi-numismatic niche.

These are two of there maple leaf shaped coins, the first was issued in a red maple leaf holder that really makes it pop.

I like the design with the veins from the leaf replicated on the reverse and the obverse.

They have a face value of $20 and are only 1oz of silver, they had a release price of $149.95 of my memory serves me right.

I also bought the second release although I'm not as impressed.

It comes in a dark stained display case and has an enamel coating.

I'm a big fan of enameled coins, but I prefer when it's added to the struck surface and it still maintains some textures. When it's just the only thing on a flat surface I'm also a little disappointed.

I very rarely by anything from the RCM anymore but this are cool relics from my earlier collecting days.

JMB has a beautiful "lady of the forest" silver round with a nice green enamel color embellishment. Looks like it might fit into your collection and taste and is very reasonable. Thanks for sharing a piece of your stack. Be safe, be well.

Cool, I'll have to take a look.

Wow, amazing, anonymous mint is really pumping out some beauty's.

Now this is a reply! Great! She is lovely no doubt. I had to have it, now I can't wait. Thank you so much, you rock.

I have some coloured silver coins and only found out later that the "real stackers" do not burn their hands on these coloured coins.

Still more votes than views. I think i'm on a few autovoters with trails, it's comes man.

The RCM does some great work, but I find their coins to be overpriced, so I don’t buy much from them, either. You’re just better off buying silver rounds or Maple Leafs.

Both these coins like great, regardless!

Will there be more Steem rounds?

Yes, very soon!

Wow, those are unique and really cool! Nice, phelimint!

Mounting these special moulds is a good way to hide wealth in plain sight.

These are really pretty. The one 2016 is really cool in the orange but for some reason I still prefer the earlier one. You got a nice collection. Thanks for sharing the beauty of these. :)

Yea, I much prefer the original one too! Thanks for checking it out.

I also like to collect the cool looking ones, I really like the first one.

Yeah, I'm more of a fan of the first one too.

Those are awesome!
I just recently got some Trump coins
(No need for a political debate, I just like coins)

got these beauties displayed at home too man, love those unique designs

Wow that's an unusual coin. I like it.

Yeah, only silver, no awesome palladium like you though...lol.

Still pretty cool pieces. Even if not your favourite.

Any update Chautauqua Silver works round yet?

Yeah, the order is placed and we've secured 18 of them, It'll be a couple weeks till we can cross the border and pick them up, we'll repost about it.

Awesome, can't wait to snag one when available!

You're right. I like the first coin much better. Even with all the colors of the second one I agree it's missing the texture that gives it it's awesome "feel"

Yeah, totally, a bit disappointing. I think they have a third but I didn't continue the series after the second one.
