This is another is another installment of Metal on Metal where I combine my love of metal bands on vinyl with my other love of silver.
This week I combined generic 1 ounce bar with the grunge Godfathers, The Melvins and their classic album Bullhead.
For those that don’t know the Melvins they are known as one of the first grunge bands and were highly influential on the Seattle sound in the 80’s and 90’s. Kurt Cobain grew up with the lead singer Buzz Osborne in Aberdeen, WA and was a big fan of the Melvins.
The Melvins aren’t your traditional metal band. They are kind of known as a sludgy metal band that played extremely slow and heavy music.
