Coin Shop Quickie - TWO AMERICAN SILVER EAGLES

Some quick photos for Coin Shop Quickie - Two American Silver Eagles

  • 1986 American Silver Eagles
  • 1993 American Silver Eagles

These are two good dates for American Silver Eagles. This 1986 ASE was among the first minted in 1986. The 1993 is simply a good early date for ASE coins.

NOTICE THE DIFFERENCE? COMPARE THESE TWO AMERICAN SILVER EAGLES - OBVERSE

The finish on the 1986 appears to be more shiny. Even with the wear on the 1986, it appears to have a surface that is more shiny. The 1993 has more of a matte finish.

I have one 1986. I picked it and you are right. It looks more shiny than the others. Interesting.

My local coin shop mentioned the difference and I too verified it and it is interesting. Upon further review, I found that it has been questioned and discussed online. However, the Mint has not identified a difference or verified any change from year to year. Definitely interesting.

What makes your One Ounce U.S. Silver Eagle Coins so much better then Generic Silver One ounce Rounds, is that they have a Face Value of One U.S. Dollar on them... After the Reset of our U.S. Coinage, One Dollar will have the Purchasing Power of 100 Federal Reserve Note Dollars, plus the U.S. Eagle will have a Silver Premium... The One Ounce Generic Silver Round will have a price of about 16 Federal Reserve Note Dollars with no Face Value Premium...

I've seen your recent posts pointing out the face value on the American Silver Eagles and Gold Eagles. I find it very interesting that there are some gold coins from the mint that are $50 and others that are $100 and they are the same one ounce of gold. The American Liberty coin says $100.

Yes... If I had the choice between a One Ounce 50 Dollar Gold Coin and a One Ounce 100 Dollar Gold Coin, you know which one I'd pick... lol...

What does your wild imagination tell you as why they would have a $100 coin ?

The $100 Bullion Coins will "Remove and Replace" $10,000 in Federal Reserve Notes... We're going to give the Central Bank "Owners" the Boot... They will make it easier to replace large amounts of Debt Notes... The same will be true with the U.S. Crypto Dollars, Cents and Decimal Cents... Everything is lining up for a Smooth Transition, away from the Central Banks Money...

It's very beautiful silver
I expect prices to rise very quickly
I wish you all the best

I hope prices rise and Silver gets to its true value compared to paper.

The Silver Eagle is the most popular and most recognized silver bullion coin in the United States.
