I had to re-explain to my beloved why i buy silver after my new aquisitions arrived on friday, being as i had said that i was going to ease off on the purchases ( after a few bevvies so cant remember saying it :-/ Does that count as a promise ? )
BTW after reading about your hauls of treasure from the pawn shops ive actually started frequenting them , ive found them to be quite expensive here in blighty a full gold sovereign was £325, about £60 more than on line. But i'll keep looking
