Im not an aussie just have a good number of bogan friends from back in the day. lol

There's not much to see in the way of posts yet. I'm trying to interact with the platform right now and prove I'm human. I do have a collection of poetry (parody) pending illustrations that I was thinking of entering in the next decent poetry competition. Its the introduce myself post that's giving me the shits.

Things are slow when starting out on here.
You dont really have to make an introduction post anymore. back when steemit was new it was a big deal but at this point its basically an option.
There are always poetry contests going on, if you do enter one its better to make a post as an entry and add the link to the contest in the comments as your submission. If its a liked entry your entry post might pay out more then the contest. Its also a great way to gain exposure.
Main thing is dont get overwhelmed if you only make a couple bucks the first month or so, some people expect to make 100's of bucks first day and when they dont they quit. If you make over 5sbd or steem in your first month you are on the right track IMO.
