Franklin Mint Sterling Silver Flags of America

Digging through my stack I rediscovered these 3 pieces produced by the Franklin Mint. All 3 are the same dimensions and weigh 1111 grains each which is 2.31ozt total weight and 2.14ozt of pure silver per piece.

The first flag is the South Dakota state flag and the piece is in fair condition. The edge markings are a little thin and a bit difficult to read but are still there. One of the symbols on the edge is a encircled "74" which I am presuming to be the mint year or mint number of set (not positive though).

The next flag is the Russian Empire flag which flew over what is now Alaska. The piece is in fairly good condition and the edge markings are deep and clearly legible. This one has a encircled "73" on the edge.

The last of my 3 larger flags is the New Amsterdam flag which flew over what is now New York . Probably the same condition as the others, there is little damage or wear to the piece. On the edge is an encircled "72".

Ahh! Classic old vintage flags,i really want to live in that age .

I wish these flags were made with silver from the states or places they represent. At least the ones where silver exists to mine. Could be a nifty line to produce.
