So I'm eagerly anticipating receiving the 2018 Steem Silver round as are many others in the #ssg-community...but thankfully @pit-bullion has provided a bit of relief for my latest episode of stackitus and my anticipation of some silver with the steem logo.
I noticed he did a limited edition hand pour of Steem silver hex pieces and when I say limited I'm pretty sure there were only about 40 of these poured. Someone correct me if I'm wrong about this number but the sale was very limited and I got #30 in the series.
So I was pretty excited when the mailman showed up with a package from Las Vegas yesterday. I knew what was in it. I took a break from laying new kitchen flooring to open and admire my latest acquisition. Here's the main thing I placed this order for--the steem silver hex.
Yep, #30 on that certificate of authenticity. Not many of these made and I got one!
I also decided to order this 2 oz silver anarchy piece. I'm a big fan of limited or even NO government (would be better than the monstrosity we have now) as living the the United States the past 10 years or so has become an increasing burden and I feel like I live in a police state and I'm trapped in a corporate hell. So this piece really caught my eye so I added it to my order as well.
All thoughts on tyrannical government aside...What's really exciting to me is that I've managed to pick up numerous silver pieces with the steem logo on it and I'll continue to collect anything minted that has something to do with steem. It's a budding collection of mine and some day I hope to have quite a few different types of silver steem pieces in my collection. I try to buy at least one of each that I'm aware of being for sale and I'll be adding 5 of the 2018 steem silver rounds to the collection in a number of weeks. I already placed my order.
The 2017 steem silver rounds became very valuable on the secondary market shortly after they were minted and having a full or near full collection of all the different types of steem silver rounds / pieces in existence is a goal of mine. Who knows what they could all be worth some day, especially due to the limited number of some of these pieces minted.
Here's what I've got so far (I actually have 2 of the 2017 rounds but I just put the one in the picture below).
Here in several weeks I'll have even more silver steem in my collection and I'm gonna be showing off my 2018 steem silver rounds as soon as they arrive!

You are lucky, I missed my chance to get a hexagon by hours. Great choice with the Anarchy pour as well. I think I am getting one of those with my order. IF ANYONE READING THIS HAS A STEEM HEXAGON THEY CAN SPARE I WILL PAY YOU MORE FOR IT I REALLY WANT ONE. I am also on discord @elamental#2433
I just did a post about @pit-bullion's silver ealier today actually.
Well if I had gotten two then I'd probably be willing to part with of them but...only got the one. I can only imagine what the price of this piece on the secondary market might be. I wonder if there's anyone out there that got several of them. I hope you find what you're looking for!

Really nice acquisition of 2018 steem silver , they really looks well crafted and unique in their own form and of high quality. The steem logo inscription on them makes looks really nice as well @cryptokeepr
Yes the seller is a very good craftsman and I order from him from time to time. I try to support good suppliers of silver who are here on steemit and @pit-bullion is pretty top notch in my book. I used to only buy bars for the lowest price I could find but lately I've been adding unique pieces that catch my eye.

Lol I can imagine it's a hefty price to pay for shipping that far away. Looks like you've got a pretty sizeable order of the 2018 silver rounds headed your way (I think it was you doing the group buy for team Australia if I recall correctly).

Pretty excited about the coins; a lot will have to go on to new homes, but I can take a few impressive pictures before we part ways. Not of me, though. The petition was very clear.
