I've been watching the inflation and hidden inflation[food portion sizes decreasing], climbing for many years now. A loaf of bread in Canada is between $2.00 and $7.00 depending on type and brand...crazy!!

Buy from the mints and main dealers, thats the best unless you know someone
I see prices of 400$ a kilo (silver 925), that means that let's say investment of 40 000$ in silver would be 100 kilo, that is so unpractical :-(
