UPDATE: The author for the first part of SteemShort #5 has been chosen (2018-Mar-20)

There were 11 valid summaries submitted to the jury.

And the jury chose the summary submitted by @diebitch.

Congratulations, @diebitch

Here is the summary:

In cell block number 1022, a mutiny was brewing. The people that had been chained to the block had had enough. Dominique Moreaux had started the domino effect. He wanted to see Claude, his partner. They had gotten married on that fateful day when Dominique had been pursued to crimes against the blockchain regime. It is hard for a revolutionary to love someone and also love a cause. The dictatorship that tracked everything and put it on a public ledger-Blockchain. The powerful people in the world had resisted it but they found a way to use the system to their advantage.

SteemShort #5 - Post 1: Request for First Part of the Story

SteemShorts are short stories written collaboratively by three different authors and illustrated by an artist/photographer.
The process fof creaingg a SteemShort is described in this post. The rules to select the authors and illustrators have been modified, as described, as described in this post

This is the request for the first part of the fifth SteemShort.

The theme of this SteemShort is the following:

The year in 2025. The main characters are a married couple, Dominique and Claude; they lived in an undefined country. And the story has to do mainly with the blockchain.

Authors that want to write this first part should send 0.001 STEEM or SBD to the @steemshorts account, with their proposed summary in a memo starting with the character '#'.

This summary must be in 100 to 200 words. Any proposed summary that is shorter than 100 words or longer than 200 words will not be considered.

It is important that the memo starts with the character '#': that makes this memo readable only by the author and the @steemshorts account. The character '#' should not be preceded by any space.

Example of the beginning of a valid memo:

# It was a dark and stormy night ...

There can be only one proposed summary per author. The proposed summaries must be received in less than 3 days after this post.

After sending their summary, authors should tell in a comment that they have sent their summary so that they can receive confirmation that their summary is valid.

After 3 days, all the valid summaries will be communicated anonymously to the 3 members of the SteemShorts jury, and they will decide which author has been chosen.

The chosen author will then be instructed how to submit their full contribution. The full contribution needss to be between 500 and 1,500 words.
Once the full contribution of the chosen author will be received, another post with this full contribution will request proposals for the second part of the story.

All authors need to agree for a "Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike" (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/legalcode).

No title for the short story should be suggested. When the full text of the full story will be known, the three different authors will propose a title.

So, writers, send your summary proposals with 0.001 STEEM or SBD to the @steemshorts account.

Need to know something about the contest

I have submitted my entry...kindly confirm.

Your main character Dominique does not seem to be married, and there is no mention of anything related to the blockchain in your summary, so it is not a valid summary.
You may resubmit another summary that follows the theme of this SteemShort.

I have submitted my summary @vcelier

This is a good opportunity for us. Specially the minnows to get noticed. Thanks for the adsactly everything.

Great man &adsactly that’s exactly what we have today in New York.
Anyway, in the beginning it seemed like Richard was not confused at all what happened, that he was charged for murder of Anna killing her with a hammer? He literally smashed her head with... Richard was pretty handy and he loved Anna, he always said to her “you are beautiful” and that he would rebuild that place, and make a sparrow nest for her. To raise their kids and to live there as happy as humanly possible. I was shocked when I started reading what Richard was doing do clean all these blood spots and placed Anna's bloody head in one of the flower pots on the balcony. Then watching TV and easily falling asleep, than after waking up he called police to tell what he did, wow. Richard explaining to Nicky why he chose her as his attorney made sense, at least that, for him. This story wasn’t only about Richard, it was about Nicky as his his attorney as well. She was in love, I could call it the true love when one supports the other unconditionally, at least from her side, however Jeremy, her lover had different plans. While she was coming back home after an appointment with Richard and after her phone call, suddenly crashed. Jeremy, cousin and some other man planned to kill her and use Richard as a distraction to get from her and her family what they wante

wow well post i like this keep it up

I look forward to the full story 👍

Thanks @vcelier for this awesome opportunity to bring Steemians (especially minnows who are great with words) to limelight.

God bless you abundantly

Love your work

Waoo Nice post i m going to Follow u steem frnd have a nice Day

@moneyinfant has added your contest to the list Steemit Writing Contests: Issue #50. The list is updated on a daily basis and your contest will remain on the list until its expiration - there's nothing you need to do.

The list was created to save writers the excessive amount of time spent searching through the #contest tag for writing contests. Now they can just come to the list each day, see new contests and use their time doing what they love - writing.

If you'd like to help spread the word about the Steemit Writing Contest List I'd really appreciate a resteem, but it certainly isn't necessary. The project is simply meant to help writers save time and contest creators attract more contestants.

P.S. If you know of any contests I've missed I'd love to hear about them. Thanks!

Summary submitted.

As you are one of the authors of SteemShort #4, according to the rules, you are not allowed to participate before SteemShort #7.

I see, okay. I just thought in the rules that I cannot submit a proposal for the same part I wrote for, but can for the other parts. Thank you for clarifying :)

I am sorry to tell you that, because your summary is public and not private, it is invalid.
Furthermore, the number of words (242) is over the maximum limit of 200.
