I have always shied away from social media including Facebook and Twitter although I have dabbled in LinkedIn. This all changed when I discovered steemit as I recently described in my intro post. You're right that it is really something to behold that the likes of Facebook can't buy steemit and yes it does have the potential to rival it. For once in my life I feel like I am ahead of the game rather than following the masses - very refreshing. Thanks @inventor16
