How To Play
If you are interested in earning Steem by playing Pacman, simply swing by Steem Pacman and start playing! You will need a Steem account if you wish to save your highscore and get paid.
In order to actually get paid, you need to play the game through to the end and save your highscore. Make sure you choose a valid Steem username or the score will not be saved and the payment will not be sent.

Heads up, cheaters! I have a simple check in place to ensure your scores are POSSIBLE. If I find a specific user abusing the service, I reserve the right to BAN THEM.

I am a bit confused. How do I login to play? There is no login buttton, only sign up.
You don't log in. You simply play. And when you are done, it asks you to save your highscore.
Input a valid Steem username and the score will be saved and a transfer for the earnings sent.
It only has to be a valid Steem username, not necessarily your own.
It would probably be better if steem login was supported.
You could add it with steemconnect.com
I see absolutely no benefit to having steemconnect on a retro proof of concept game that pays out minimal payments.
If this were a big platform that was possible to really pay out people I would make it far more secure.
But I'll be needing some funding before I work on that.
I like the implementation you have now - super simple and straightforward, don't have to put in my keys anywhere. I hope you keep it up.

I don't know if I found a glitch but on my screen I'm in 1st and 2nd place for the same game I played.

Got any games that a 3 year old can play? Maybe she can start earning money and pay me back for the carpet that she used as a canvas.
I got 8th place on the leaderboard and no payout at all. Tried again the the next day got 4th place and again zero payout... any ideas why netuoso? My 4th place is still there but my 8th position has been beaten.
Will a certain score always give the same reward, or does it depend on how many players there are and how high the top score is?
It might evolve over time but it's just a simple fixed reward based off score. I wanted to create interest with this but I plan to develop towards mainstream games

I dont see any button that says login cos i already have a steemit account. Means i can start playing but there's no login i can use with my steemit login details. @netuoso
If you get a high score, you type in your username (all lowercase) and it pays to that Steem Account. You could even get some charity pacman going by lying about your username!

Thats a good question. They worked fine on my mobile. If the page doesn't scroll then you can swipe left/right/up/down on the map too (but if the page scrolls the swiping doesnt work well)

By the way, only 2 ghosts are moving when I play. And can't login - no place to login. Edit: Just found out how to (no need to login just save highscore).
Why does everyone want to log in? Lol.
No logging in. You just play, and when you die 3 times you can save your highscore. You put a valid Steem name and it will save the score and send the payout. Done.
(The game is programmed to not let the other ghosts out until round 3 or 4 not sure but it says in the instructions. Try getting a higher score to get them out!)

Scroll up and click on the words 'Steem Pacman'. You don't need to login.
