How to create Images and Graphics for Blogs With No Expertise In Designing

Sharing two of my favorite apps to create images and designs for my blogs.

Images, no doubt, can convey the message faster and capture readers attention to your blog. In the last blog we talked about the sites where you can find images to use in the blogs that doesn’t violate copyright claims of the creator.

However, most of the time, readily available images need a personal touch to make it relevant for your blog. Sometimes, you need to create graphics that sends out the message loud and clear.

Photoshop and other professional tools out there needs expertise to create such graphics or manipulate the images the way you want. If you are starting out as a newbie into the design and editing field, it becomes time consuming to get such graphics for your blog.

In this blog, I am going to share about the software that needs no such expertise. In fact, they provide templates for many different image formats ranging from every possible digital use. This way, you don’t need to remember the size dimensions either.

There are many such software these days, but I am going to share two of my favourite picks for creating images and graphics for your blog. The best part is both of them offer their services for free to a great etent.

Canva.com

Canva is one of the tools you need to be familiar with if you looking for image tools. It is an online software that helps you to create or choose images, custom design them and download in the desired formats for your blog.

Check out Canva and you will understand how easy it is to use with no prior knowledge of designing. To add to the learning, Canva also provides a dedicated design school to learn designing if you are interested to step up your knowledge.

There are other features in Canva that will make your digital experience unbelievably comfortable. You can connect your different accounts such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube or Google drive and draw images and videos from there and edit them in Canva. This feature is a great way to repurpose your blog into different formats.

There are options to enhance your images and to post the images and videos directly to different apps such as Twitter, Pinterest and so on. This makes it easier to post or schedule your posts and increase productivity.

The best part for those who are starting out to blog is Canva provides their services for free for an unlimited point of time. There is a pro version where you can access more features. The free version allows you to access a good number of pre built designs and royalty free images.

Visme.co

Visme.co is one of the software I found last year to make graphics for different purposes. I liked using Visme.co mainly for creating Infographics. Again, this tool helps to create graphics with not much prior knowledge of designing.

Visme also has a learning hub where you can learn the basics of designing and also how to use Visme.co to create graphics for your blogs and other sites. One of the best things about Visme.co is you can adjust the canvas size while you are working on the project.

Visme also has a free plan for the users, however, this limits many of the amazing features offered in their pro version. The pro version of the software allows you to add multimedia like voice and videos to your graphics, how cool is that!
